Standing in line at the Post Office, everyone is growing impatient. People are edgy, starting to comment on the clerks, picking on their children or on someone else’s. A man walks in and looks at the line, waits for a second, and starts shouting, “Isn’t anyone moving around here?” We all turn to him. After all it’s just a Post Office line. He then pushes past everyone and goes to the counter to ask some trivial question and holds up the line again. I figure I have to do something here. So I start sending the message “Just go away. Leave” telepathically to him. Several people start to leave. He turns as if someone has just spoken to him and I try not to smile. He remains. I keep sending the message until he turns around and abruptly leaves. The person standing behind me says, “What got into him?” I just shrug my shoulders and smile as we move closer to the counter.
