MY PSYCHIC LIFE© A word to the wise when shopping

So I did what every psychic does on her time off… I went shopping… just kidding, of course. People ‘think’ that psychics  are always reading people, 24/7…if that was true, i probably would be babbling in some institution being fed baby food by now…but on with my story.

I was shopping in a trendy downtown store, certainly feeling and looking a bit less than a lot of the rehearsed downtown crowd, but still holding my own.

I found some things to try on and wandered to the dressing rooms where a guy was giving out numbers, letting people into dressing rooms, you know the drill. He barely looked at me, in fact, for a moment I thought I was a dust mote next to the other people he seemed to be adoring at that moment, but it didn’t really matter to me. I felt happy in myself and glad to close myself off from the world to try on some clothes… it’s a jungle out there…

I left the dressing room area and aimlessly walked through the store, examining clothing. Time passed and as I was looking at a rack of clothing, he simply appeared. He asked if I found something to buy. I had. I figured that was the end of it, but he stood there smiling at me and said, “You know, I was sorry I didn’t see you leave the dressing room. You had such a nice feeling about you…you had such nice energy.”  I thanked him and chuckled to myself, also intuitively knowing he was being genuine and not trying to pick me up. Did I mention he was gay? It pays to be psychic.

I told him I was a clairvoyant and we exchanged knowing glances. I also told him he’d be leaving this place by early next year and go study fashion like he wanted to do… but that’s a whole other blog.
